There is more to yoga than postures, getting flexible or getting fit. If you’re interested in how yoga can benefit all areas of your life including the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual then this is the course for you.
It’s also a great introduction to the style of yoga that we do at The Yoga Shed. You can then make an informed decision about whether you’d like to book in for the rest of the yoga term with us. It’s a great way to make a connection with your teacher and the studio before jumping in to the term. We can get you comfortable beforehand!
Receive practical guidance and theory on yoga postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), relaxation, singing bowls & meditation. Discover techniques to develop flexibility, strength, toning and experience, physical, mental and emotional balance. Tools for relieving stress and improving everyday living will also be provided.
Non competitive, awareness based and designed to be accessible to students within a wide range of yoga abilities.
Suitable for beginners or experienced yoga students.
The word yoga means to yoke, bind or unite. It is a system of practices, which can be used to bring about the unification of the body, mind and spirit. On a more practical level, it is a complete system of health, which can lead to greater physical, mental and emotional balance.
